A "Value Center" surrounds the existing
IKEA Store off Exit 13A of the New Jersey Turnpike. The area is
home to several thriving businesses, including:
-
IKEA
-
TOYS "R" US KIDS WORLD
The project cost $50 million to build and
generated 500 construction jobs and over 800 permanent retail
jobs. The Center offers all the benefits of an Urban Enterprise
Zone (UEZ), including the ability to charge only 3% sales tax
for taxable goods in New Jersey. The Center generates over
$750,000 in new property tax revenues each year, in addition to
the millions that are reinvested within the Urban Enterprise
Zone from revenues generated by sales tax.

IKEA

a fixture at the Elizabeth Center for over a decade.
Known for its affordable, easy-to-assemble furniture and stylish
